Video Editor

Responsibilities:

- Edit raw video footage into complete polished videos for YouTube.
- Handle all aspects of post-production, including editing video footage, sourcing b-roll when needed, adding music/sound effects, color correction, and adding graphics and effects.
- Download and upload large video files quickly and efficiently.
- Work in collaboration with our content team to meet weekly deadlines and create high-quality content.
- Understand our brand's aesthetic and apply it to all videos created.
- Ensure all editing cuts, effects, and changes are in line with the script and director's vision.
- Address and implement feedback in a timely and positive manner.
- Adhere to a to a weekly schedule and submit daily progress updates to team lead.

Requirements:

- Proven work experience as a video editor
- Strong attention to detail, creative mindset, and good time management skills
- Proficient with traditional video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X, DaVinci Resolve or similar
- Basic knowledge of After Effects or similar motion graphics software is a plus
- Strong portfolio of past video editing work, including YouTube and real estate video content
- Strong internet connection for efficient file transfers
- High-performance computer capable of running video editing software smoothly
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Able to complete multiple projects on a tight deadline
- Ability to work independently and part of a remote team
