Hey there! Thanks for your interest in Karmo Growth (karmogrowth.com), I'm Riyaz the founder and I'm building out an international team that can help me grow the company. We're based here in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and hope to work with clients all across North America.

What I'm Looking For
I am currently looking for a video editor that can help me with editing vertical short form videos for LinkedIn, Twitter (X), and TikTok. Over time, this role may evolve to encompass other video formats, but for the foreseeable future, this will be quick, snappy, vertical short form videos. I am doing this as part of a cohort of creatives and leaders that are learning to post online and this role may include helping them out with the same style of video editing.

About This Application
I have a few questions to learn more about you and whether you are a good fit for the team. I am looking for someone with several years of experience, that can get things done efficiently, and well. As well as learn new skills quickly to figure out challenges and isn't afraid to ask questions.

Goals for the Company
I am hoping to build out Karmo Growth into a full fledged marketing machine. Karmo Growth is a sales and marketing firm helping engineering services with their marketing. HOWEVER, we don't offer video editing as a service - this will not be for the service company, this will be for me, as one of the lead generation mechanisms (posting content online). I am seeing if anyone I know is interested in this service - if they are, I will sell it to them "as a service" and you will be the videographer on the Karmo Growth team.

Compensation & Hours
To start, work will be flexible based on the hours that work for you. Work for me will be about 1 short video / day) - this will be the end goal, but I might not be posting 1 video/day right away, it might start with a video/week. 1 video/day will be the goal by end of January. These videos will be quite intense, so I fully expect it to take a decent amount of time to do - there is a taste of the type of video I want to make later in this application (in the google form).

Payment is hourly (300 php/hour) and will be sent twice a month via Wise (on the 1st and 16th for work done the previous half month).
