JOB OVERVIEW

Position Overview
We are a prominent swimming school in Georgia and we are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, applying creative techniques, and producing high-quality video content that aligns with the company’s vision and objectives. This role requires technical expertise, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for storytelling through visual media.

Key Responsibilities
Video Editing

1. Edit raw video footage into polished and engaging content for various platforms (social media, websites, advertisements, etc.).
Add visual and audio effects, transitions, and animations to enhance production quality.

2. Content Development
Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and target audience.
Conceptualize and implement creative ideas into video projects.

3. Quality Control
Review and fine-tune edits to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
Correct issues related to color grading, audio synchronization, and visual effects.

4. Asset Management
Organize and archive video assets, ensuring files are labeled and stored properly.
Maintain an organized workflow to meet deadlines efficiently.

5. Collaborative Work
Work closely with directors, producers, and graphic designers to meet production requirements.
Provide suggestions for improvement or innovation to enhance video storytelling.

6. Trend Awareness
Stay updated on video editing techniques, tools, and trends in the industry.

Qualifications and Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Multimedia Arts, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Experience: Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio of work.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, etc.).
Knowledge of motion graphics and animation tools (After Effects is a plus).
Understanding of video formats, codecs, and file compression.
Expertise in audio editing and sound mixing.

Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Creativity and a strong sense of storytelling.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Quality and creativity of final video outputs.
Adherence to project deadlines.
Client or team satisfaction with edited content.
Efficient management of video assets and files.

Work Environment
Remote work arrangements
20-25 Hours per week ( May require extended hours during deadlines or high-priority projects)
