[Job Title]
Video Editing Team Leader
[Work Type]
Remote | Flexible Hours | Long-term Contract
[Salary]
Your salary = Type-a + Type-b as follows.
You may also apply for either Type-a, Type-b or both(Type-a + Type-b).
-Type-a(video editing yourself): $500 USD for 10 projects(+ bonus) for video editing yourself (all visual elements—video clips, images, etc.—provided; your role includes editing in Premiere Pro and overseeing team output).
-Type-b(video editing team lead role): $200 USD for 10 projects(+ bonus) for guiding editors, give constructive feedback, and maintain a high standard. (this will take far less time than Type-a work, since you won't be editing yourself, but mostly giving feedbacks to the fellow video editors)
-Opportunity for revenue sharing as the video gets views—your income increases with video viewership.
-Performance bonus based on video views post-publication (details negotiable after demonstrating your skills, but you must be comfortable with the base pay).
-Number of projects per week increases, scaling with team capacity and your leadership.
-First projects may require more time as we align on style, but efficiency will improve with familiarity.
[What You’ll Do]
IMPORTANT:
While the following sample video is considered 80%, we're aiming for 85-90% in terms of dynamic pacing, flawless transitions, and viewer retention hooks.
Read above line before checking this sample video:
-Edit high-impact YouTube videos using provided assets (images, clips, voice-overs, scripts) in Premiere Pro or Capcut, syncing visuals seamlessly with audio.
-Lead and mentor a small team of video editors, providing actionable feedback to ensure stunning, consistent quality across all projects.
-Collaborate with me and the team to refine edits, aligning with our aesthetic and storytelling vision.
-Elevate videos with elite-level creativity—think dynamic pacing, flawless transitions, and viewer retention hooks.
-Optional: If skilled in sound engineering (BGM, SFX), earn an extra $150 USD for 10 projects + bonus potential.
-Note: Early projects will involve feedback as we fine-tune the process, but as Team Lead, you’ll soon drive independent excellence across the team.
[What We’re Looking For]
The elite candidate:
-Brings expert-level editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects a plus) with a portfolio of visually stunning, high-performing videos.
-Has leadership experience—you can guide editors, give constructive feedback, and maintain a high standard.
-Understands audience retention and conversion—your edits captivate and deliver results.
-Is coachable yet proactive—open to input but takes ownership to solve problems fast.
-Communicates fluently in English with clarity, respect, and confidence.
-Manages time like a pro, hitting deadlines without excuses.
-Thrives under pressure and brings A+ execution every day.
Important Note:
-Mutual respect is non-negotiable. If life changes and you need to step away, just tell us why and when—your honesty helps us grow stronger as a team. Ghosting wastes everyone’s time.
-Ghosting: If you've ever ghosted anyone before for no apparent reason, or you're notorious for ghosting people on messengers, you must not apply for this job.
-Late Response: If you don't respond to a coworker or to me within 24 hours, 3 times in the span of a month, 5 times in total, you'll have to leave.
