VA for Quilting Company

Background:
I own a quilting business. One part of this business is my online pattern club where members are given patterns ideas to use up their leftover fabrics.

I launched this membership in Feb 2024 and it's just been limping along. I really want to make it grow and flourish, but I don't have the mental space to commit what it required to it. I know my patterns are good, but I would like to improve the perceived value of this group through more engaging content and more regular touch points with my members.

I think this community has real potential to create a fun corner of the internet for quilters to solve their scrap problems, but I don’t have the bandwidth to nurture the growth of it or to implement the ideas I have, even if they’re good ones.

Purpose:
I want to offload the stress of planning this online quilting membership content and growing this community. Your job will be to take over this community. I will still create the content so I remain the face of the business, but I want to feel like I work for you. You will manage the marketing, implement the content, give me scripts of videos you need from me, and improve the customer experience.

Importance: What is the difference this will make? What impact will this have?
I can continue to grow my online presence without growing my mental load. I will be the face of the my online quilting membership without all the back-end prep and planning. With the help of someone else, we can really grow my membership into a thriving community to generate belonging for quilters and income for the company.

Ideal Outcome: What does the completed project look like?
A completed project would look like a community of at least 200 members actively engaging with the content that is being created.

Best Outcome:
More digital money income for the business = healthier profit margin
Higher quality content being delivered
More regular interaction with community
Lower mental load for me

Worst Outcome: What’s at risk if you don’t take action?
I decide the this group isn’t worth my time for the return it’s providing
I shut it down
Miss out on digital income
Rely solely on physical product income

Success Criteria
What specific results must be true for this project to be a success?
15+ new members monthly
Projects planned by the 25th of the previous month
Additional content planned (tips/tricks/swaps/sewalongs)
Scripts/outlines given to me for filming
Schedule put in place for when you need things from me
Marketing plan for each month
Create an onboarding/success path for new members (i.e. Start Here…)

Assets to work with:
The membership is housed on a wordpress membership site and a private Facebook group
Marketing can be done through my email list, public facebook page, instagram page, Youtube, email list, and meta ads.

My ideal candidate would have experience in the quilting/sewing industry, but this is not a necessity. I want someone who is excited to learn this world.
