Job Title: VA Business Development Admin - SkySpecs Media Company LLC
Job Description:
SkySpecs Media Company LLC is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented VA Business Development Admin to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving business growth by researching, identifying, and applying for government contracts, as well as developing relationships with small businesses and supplier diversity programs.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, organized, and ready to take initiative. You will be expected to manage vendor portal registrations, engage in outreach to potential business partners, and continuously seek out new opportunities for the company.

This is a commission-based position, offering substantial earning potential for high-performing candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

Government Contract Applications:
Submit applications for a minimum of 10 or more government contracts weekly using platforms like BidSpeed, SAM.gov, and BidMatch.
Research and identify relevant RFPs, RFQs, and other opportunities.
Use AI tools, such as ChatGPT 4.0, to assist with application preparation and document completion.
Airtable Database Management:
Maintain and organize a comprehensive Airtable database for company certifications, vendor portal registrations, and personnel information.
Ensure supplier diversity registrations are up to date, including contact details, login information, and diversity contacts.
Small Business Outreach:
Conduct outreach to at least 100 small businesses weekly, focusing on establishing collaborative partnerships.
Utilize the DSBS (Dynamic Small Business Search) tool to identify potential partners across the West Coast.
Track outreach efforts and responses using Airtable, and update the leads list regularly.

Supplier Diversity Registrations:
Register SkySpecs Media Company with at least 10 new supplier diversity programs weekly.
Regularly update and maintain company profiles on supplier diversity platforms.
Supplier Diversity Outreach:
Send a minimum of 100 emails per week to supplier diversity contacts.
Develop customized and creative pitch decks tailored to each contact, drawing inspiration from SkySpecs Media’s templates.
Research & Development:
Stay updated on industry trends, new government opportunities, and partnership possibilities.
Contribute ideas for expanding the company's reach through innovative business development strategies.

Qualifications:

Experience: Prior experience with government contract applications and platforms like BidSpeed, SAM.gov, and BidMatch is preferred.
Knowledge: Familiarity with supplier diversity programs and certifications.
Skills: Excellent written communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency in Airtable.
Self-Motivation: Must be able to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines consistently.
Government Contracting Knowledge:
Understanding of the government procurement process, RFPs, RFQs, and relevant platforms (BidSpeed, SAM.gov, BidMatch).
Research and Analytical Skills:
Ability to conduct in-depth research to identify partnership opportunities and government contracts.
Analyze data from platforms like USAspending.gov, FPDS, and GSA library to inform decision-making.
Communication and Outreach:
Strong written communication for crafting outreach emails to small businesses, supplier diversity programs, and potential partners.
Ability to create tailored, persuasive pitch decks for supplier diversity contacts and potential collaborators.
Organizational Skills:
Experience managing databases (e.g., Airtable) for organizing contracts, vendor registrations, and leads.
Ability to track outreach efforts, contract applications, and follow-ups systematically.
Time Management:
Efficiently balancing multiple tasks, such as submitting contract applications, conducting outreach, and maintaining databases, while meeting deadlines.
Familiarity with Supplier Diversity Programs:
Knowledge of diversity certification processes and experience registering companies with supplier diversity platforms.
Sales and Negotiation:
Ability to negotiate partnerships, propose collaborative opportunities, and close deals that align with the company's goals.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in tools like Airtable, Excel, and government contracting portals.
Familiarity with AI tools (like ChatGPT) for assisting with contract documentation and outreach efforts.
Self-Motivation and Initiative:
Ability to work independently, self-train, and drive tasks without constant supervision.
Eagerness to learn new tools, processes, and business development strategies.
Attention to Detail:
Ensuring accuracy in contract submissions, tracking leads, and maintaining organized records.
