We are looking for accountants and CPAs that have experience with tax return preparation, specifically for high net-worth clients who have real estate investments. You will primarily be reviewing and organizing client documents, entering in client forms in Drake Tax software, and documenting your work on Excel workpapers so US Tax Prep experience is required. You will report directly to a CPA manager who will review your work and make corrections before sending to the client.

Responsibilities and Duties:
-Review, organize, file, and manage tax documents, including client submissions and IRS correspondence.
-Reporting directly to CPA manager regarding status of tax returns.
-Completing workpapers in Microsoft Excel.
-Researching various tax issues as needed.
-Prepare and send engagement letters, invoices, and follow-up communications to clients.
-Sending invoices to clients.
-Sending e-signature forms to clients.
-Serve as the primary point of contact for clients to collect required tax documents and respond to basic inquiries.
-Work closely with tax preparers, accountants, and other admin assistants to ensure smooth workflows.
Requirements and Qualifications:
-Experience in US Tax Preparation process specifically in reviewing the completion of tax documents vs prior year return/s.
-Fluent in English
-Experience working with US clients preferred
-Strong communication and organizational skills
-Willingness to learn new concepts and grow with the firm
-Able to work over 40 hours/week during busy seasons of the year around tax deadlines
-Experience with tax return preparation, preferably using Drake Tax software
-Microsoft Excel skills
-CPA license or Degree in Accounting or related field preferred but not required
-Real estate tax knowledge preferred but not required
-Quickbooks knowledge a plus
