POSITION OVERVIEW:
We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Ad Operations Specialist to manage multi-channel advertising campaigns, primarily focusing on Meta Ads and Google Ads. You will be working closely with Hannah, who will manage and guide you in this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, implement, and optimize Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns.
- Manage advertising budgets and track performance to maximize ROI.
- Conduct A/B testing to refine targeting, bidding, and ad creatives.
- Perform keyword research and optimize ad copy.
- Analyze campaign data using tools like Databox, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.
- Set up conversion tracking to measure campaign effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and make data-driven recommendations.
- Collaborate with the team to improve ad strategies and performance.
- Communicate with clients regarding operational queries.
- Document campaign strategies and provide performance reporting.
KEY PROJECTS AND MEASURABLE OUTCOMES:
Within the first 3-6 months, you will:
- Consistently improve ROI for campaigns.
- Reduce the cost per acquisition (CPA) while maintaining/improving conversion rates.
- Successfully launch and manage at least 5 new ad campaigns.
- Provide weekly and monthly actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Onboard at least one new client, managing Meta Ads, Google Ads, Hubspot, Klaviyo, and Databox systems.
- Propose 3-5 data-driven optimizations that improve performance metrics (CPC, CTR, conversion rates).
**CHALLENGES:** (IMPORTANT)
You will be tasked with:
- Google Ads: Providing basic ad strategies for improvement, including tests to run.
- Meta Ads: Proposing a campaign strategy with specific creative ideas and tests.
PRACTICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Available to work during Sydney office hours, with some flexibility.
- A dedicated office space with reliable, high-speed internet (backup options recommended).
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years managing Meta Ads and Google Ads.
- Expertise in keyword research, ad optimization, and A/B testing.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Databox, and Google Tag Manager.
