Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Trucking Claims/Maintenance Auditor to join our team remotely. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for reviewing and auditing trucking claims and maintenance records to ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and best practices. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential in identifying discrepancies, minimizing costs, and enhancing operational efficiency across our trucking operations.
*Key Responsibilities:
*Claims Review and Investigation:
-Conduct thorough evaluations of trucking claims submitted by drivers and maintenance personnel.
-Verify the accuracy and legitimacy of claims through meticulous documentation checks and cross-referencing with maintenance records, invoices, and operational logs.
-Investigate claims discrepancies, engaging with relevant stakeholders to gather additional information as necessary.
*Maintenance Auditing:
-Perform regular audits of maintenance records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, safety requirements, and company protocols.
-Assess the effectiveness of maintenance programs and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and cost reduction.
-Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and documentation to ensure timely and efficient servicing.
*Data Analysis and Reporting:
-Analyze claims and maintenance data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for process optimization.
-Prepare detailed reports on findings, including actionable recommendations for management to enhance efficiency and reduce claim-related costs.
-Present audit results and insights in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at various levels within the organization.
*Collaboration and Communication:
-Collaborate closely with claims processors, maintenance teams, and operational staff to resolve discrepancies and implement best practices.
-Communicate effectively with tea

*Regulatory Compliance:
-Stay updated on relevant federal, state, and local regulations affecting the trucking industry, ensuring all claims and maintenance practices align with legal requirements.
-Monitor industry trends and changes in regulations that may impact claims processing and maintenance protocols.
*Training and Development:
-Assist in developing and delivering training programs for staff on proper claims submission, maintenance documentation practices, and compliance standards.
-Create and update training materials to reflect current policies and industry practices.
*Process Improvement:
-Identify and recommend enhancements to current auditing processes, aiming to increase efficiency and accuracy in claims and maintenance tracking.
-Participate in special projects and initiatives aimed at improving operational performance and service quality.
*Qualifications:
-Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance or claims within the trucking or logistics industry.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
-Knowledge of trucking industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices is highly desirable.
