We are seeking a skilled Troubleshooting Engineer to join our team and provide dedicated support in resolving platform issues. In this role, you will play a crucial part in improving case resolution times by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues across multiple instances.
Looking for someone with experience with JavaScript, debugging, and the ServiceNow platform.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshooting and Resolution: Identify, diagnose, and resolve platform issues such as application errors, process failures, and performance bottlenecks.
• Root Cause Analysis: Conduct comprehensive investigations to determine the underlying cause of recurring issues and implement preventive solutions.
• Process Improvement: Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve case resolution speed and overall platform stability.
• Scripting and Automation: Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks and streamline troubleshooting efforts.
• Staying Current: Stay updated on the latest releases, features, and best practices to enhance troubleshooting strategies.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in system administration, development, or support roles.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of platform architecture, ITSM processes, and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, etc.).
• Problem-Solving: Proven ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues effectively.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in system administration, development, or technical support preferred in regards to the ServiceNow platform.
