As a Trainer at My Business Care Team, you will be pivotal in preparing new hires to effectively perform in a virtual environment. Your role will emphasize the development of comprehensive training programs, leveraging your knowledge of optometry and ophthalmology terminology to create engaging training materials, assessments, and mock call scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver training programs, focusing on optometry and ophthalmology terminologies.
Create and maintain detailed training materials, including manuals, presentations, and digital resources for effective learning.
Design and execute realistic mock call scenarios to enhance trainees' skills in managing patient interactions over the phone.
Conduct assessments to evaluate trainees' understanding and proficiency, adjusting training approaches as needed to close knowledge gaps.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure training content aligns with company goals and industry standards.
Continuously refine training methods based on feedback and operational performance metrics.
Lead engaging virtual training sessions and provide individualized coaching to nurture skill development and confidence.
Stay current with industry trends and updates to maintain the relevance and accuracy of training content.
Document training procedures and progress, contributing to comprehensive training records and reports.
Required Skills and Experience:
Solid understanding of optometry and ophthalmology terminology and practices.
Proven experience (3+ years) in a training role, preferably within the healthcare sector.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills tailored for virtual and remote training environments.
Demonstrated ability to create effective training materials and engaging mock scenarios.
Strong organizational skills for managing multiple training programs and materials effectively.
Proficiency with digital training tools and platforms to support remote learning.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Education, or a related field.
Experience in a virtual healthcare setting, especially involving optometry or ophthalmology preferred but not required
Certification in training or related professional development programs preferred but not required
