Town planner / architect

We are looking for a Town planner / architect

About the role:
You will be supporting the preparation and management of both development and plan applications for signage projects in Australia.

The position would suit a candidate with experience in Australian councils and planning.
Experience with CAD design / architecture is a bonus

This will include:
Review of Council planning controls - Local Environmental Plan (LEP) & Development Control Plan (DCP)
Review of NSW planning legislation Environmental Planning & Assessment Act 1979, and relevant State Environmental Planning Policies (SEPPs)
Review and generate various Project documentation / reports / plans
General liaison (emails/phone) with client and their consultants
Preparation of Statement of Environmental Effects / town planning report
