Job Title: TikTok & Meta Ad Video Editor (UGC Focus)

We are a dynamic company focused on running effective Facebook and TikTok ads. We specialize in short, engaging, and creative user-generated content (UGC) style ads that drive results on Meta and TikTok. We’re looking for a talented video editor who understands TikTok’s unique style and can craft videos that capture attention and encourage action.

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced video editor with a deep understanding of TikTok’s platform, trends, and user-generated content style. Your primary responsibility will be editing UGC-style ads for TikTok and Meta platforms. You don’t need to be a pro with special effects or long-form content editing; instead, we need someone who knows how to trim down and refine videos, making them more engaging and aligned with TikTok trends.

Responsibilities:

Edit 2-minute TikTok videos down to 40 seconds by cutting out unnecessary or boring parts.
Add TikTok-style captions, background music, and call-to-actions (CTAs) to the end of the videos.
Stitch different TikTok clips together to create a cohesive and compelling narrative.
Ensure the content is engaging, fast-paced, and aligns with TikTok trends and Meta ad requirements.
Work closely with the team to understand the vision and objectives of each video ad.
Requirements:

Fluent in English (verbal and written).
Extensive experience editing videos for TikTok and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ads, especially in UGC style.
A frequent TikTok user who understands the platform, its trends, and the type of content that performs well.
Ability to edit content with minimal special effects but focused on enhancing the overall storytelling and engagement.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to quickly adapt to different editing styles.
Experience using Capcut or other editing software that can easily create TikTok-style UGC ads is recommended. However, you may use any editing tool you’re comfortable with, as long as it meets the ad requirements.
Familiarity with adding TikTok-style captions, music, and basic video editing tools.
Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience creating or editing TikTok-style ads for brands or agencies.
Familiarity with ad platforms and how TikTok/Meta ads differ from organic content.
