Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Retention Account Manager with a solid IT technical background to join our Sales Retention Team. This dual-role position combines account management responsibilities with technical expertise, supporting the Retention Team by providing technical advice and solutions while managing a personal sales target.

Roles and Responsibilities.

• Serve as the technical point of contact for the Retention Sales Team, offering guidance and support on IT products, services, and solutions.
• Collaborate with the Retention Team to resolve client inquiries, troubleshoot technical issues, and develop tailored solutions that enhance customer satisfaction.
• Manage a portfolio of assigned accounts, building strong, lasting relationships with clients to drive retention, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to team revenue goals through proactive account management and upselling of products and services.
• Conduct technical consultations, product demonstrations, and presentations for existing clients to highlight the value of our offerings.
• Partner with internal teams, including Product Development and Technical Support, to address customer needs and ensure seamless service delivery.
• Stay informed about IT trends, new technologies, and industry developments to provide clients with the best possible solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and sales progress in the CRM system.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in account management, retention sales, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with IT products and services like SaaS, cloud solutions, and networking.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, software, and networks.
• Self-driven, goal-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment. •
Proactive learner who keeps up with IT trends and technologies.

Experience:

• Proven experience in account management or retention sales, with a strong background in IT technical support or sales.
• Solid technical knowledge in IT, including networking, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, SaaS, and IT hardware/software.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and accounts effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is preferred.
