Technical SEO & On-Page SEO Specialist

USponsor Me is a premium job board that contains visa sponsorship jobs. We connect sponsor hiring companies in the USA with international job seekers. We also place international candidates into US-based companies for the J1 program, and we handle the visa process. We are based in Austin, TX.

We seek a Technical SEO & On-Page SEO Specialist to optimize our website for search engines, enhance user experience, and improve organic traffic. If you are passionate about site structure, page speed, indexing, and content optimization, this role is for you!

You will optimize website structure, metadata, and rich snippets for featured results using Rank Math and structured data (Schema Markup). You will analyze Google Speed results, troubleshoot, debug, and configure Cloudflare, Astra Theme, and LiteSpeed Cache to improve the site speed score. You will implement & maintain CSS for better UI and performance. You will monitor and analyze website performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and Ahrefs. You will stay current with the latest search engine algorithms and AI advancements. You will develop and implement SEO and AEO strategies to optimize website rankings and voice search.

Technical SEO Tasks:
- Perform SEO audits to identify & fix indexing, crawlability, and site speed issues.
- Optimize Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, FID) to improve page experience.
- Implement & validate structured data (Schema markup) for rich snippets.
- Optimize robots.txt, XML sitemaps, canonical tags, and hreflang for international SEO.
- Fix broken links, 404 errors, redirects (301/302), and duplicate content issues.
- Monitor and resolve Google Search Console & Bing Webmaster Tools issues.
- Improve mobile-friendliness & page speed using Lighthouse, GTmetrix, and PageSpeed Insights.

On-Page SEO Tasks:
- Optimize meta titles, descriptions, headers (H1-H3), and URL structures.
- Conduct keyword research & competitor analysis for content optimization.
- Improve internal linking structure to enhance site hierarchy & crawlability.
- Ensure content follows SEO best practices (readability, keyword placement, NLP optimization).
- Work with developers & content teams to implement SEO improvements.

SEO Monitoring & Reporting:
- Track organic traffic, keyword rankings, and CTR performance.
- Generate SEO performance reports using Google Analytics, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
- Stay updated on Google algorithm updates & industry trends.

What You Need:
- 2+ years of experience in SEO
- 2+ years of experience in website development
- Experience with WordPress, Astra Theme, LiteSpeed Cache & Rank Math plugins configurations
- Experience with Cloudflare, API implementation & customization
- Skills in CSS and HTML
- Ability to analyze & debug website issues
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog).
- Understanding of schema markup, structured data, and entity-based search
- Experience with content optimization for featured snippets and AI-generated results
- Knowledge of Google algorithms & ranking factors
- Creativity in content & design creation
- Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights for website improvements
- Familiarity with technical SEO, site speed optimization, and Core Web Vitals.

The weekly budget is $80. We can discuss how many tasks you can handle within this budget.
