Profitable Tradie is a business coaching company helping plumbing, electrical, and service-based businesses across New Zealand, Australia, and North America scale and optimize their operations.

We’re growing fast and need an IT & Web Services Specialist to keep our systems running smoothly, troubleshoot tech issues, and optimize our web platforms.

What You’ll Be Doing
Your role is to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the IT and web systems that keep our business operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Troubleshooting & Support – Fix technical issues with hardware, software, networks, printers, and cloud systems to ensure smooth daily operations.

Account & Access Management – Manage user accounts, reset passwords, and adjust system permissions as needed.

Software Deployment & Maintenance – Install, update, and support software applications across the company.

Web Development & Optimization – Maintain and improve our websites and web apps using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.

Cybersecurity & Best Practices – Enforce security policies, train teaUpgrade to see actual infombers on best practices, and help prevent potential cyber threats.

Project Management – Plan and execute IT and web-related projects, working with different teams to improve tech infrastructure.

Training & Documentation – Educate teaUpgrade to see actual infombers on software and hardware use and document troubleshooting procedures.

Your goal? Ensure that all tech-related functions run smoothly while optimizing our systems for efficiency and performance.

Who You Are
To succeed in this role, you should have:
5+ years of experience in IT support, web development, and content management.
Technical expertise – Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networks, operating systems (Windows & macOS), and troubleshooting.
Web development skills – Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side languages (e.g., PHP, Python).
CMS experience – Familiar with content management systems (CMS) and web technologies.
Problem-solving mindset – Able to troubleshoot and fix tech issues quickly.
Great communication skills – Able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
Project management ability – Can manage multiple tech-related projects at once.
A passion for learning – Always staying updated on new tech trends and advancements.
