We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative who is all about hunting for new leads, closing deals, and making sales processes smooth and efficient. If you’re great at building a pipeline, don’t have a problem reaching out to complete strangers all day, and are comfortable handling CRM systems, this job is for you!
You’ll work closely with the Head of Sales at a leading online marketplace that allows people to buy and sell TCG products like Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and One Piece cards through their online Shop and Auctions. You’ll also be working directly with their team to figure out strategies for sourcing leads and convincing them that we have the best place for them to sell their TCG cards and products. This means finding these leads in
Responsibilities:
- Find, source, and contact potential leads on a daily basis to qualify them and convince them why they should sell their items through our online marketplace.
- Be able to communicate clearly and casually in English, both voice and non-voice, with TCG collectors and players in a way that will build trust and make them feel comfortable working with you.
- Organize, track, and follow up on all leads you source in a CRM like HubSpot or Zendesk, making sure everything’s tracked and acted on in a timely manner.
- Keep your lead funnel up to date with all the latest sales activities and projections, all while constantly improving your process for sourcing and closing deals.
- Give your feedback and opinions on the processes you’re using so that they can always be improved and optimized as time goes on. Always be improving!
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a cold-outreach based Sales role where you’ve had to hit a high number of contacts per day (100+) for a US-based client. Experience as a Team Leader of Subject Matter Expert is preferred
- 1+ years in a WFH setup where you’ve worked directly with a US-based client as a freelancer.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to hold casual conversations with leads without sounding too formal or fake.
- Passionate about Trading Card Games (TCG) and familiar with collectors and industry professionals (e.g., shop owners) and how to value different types of products and cards.
- Experience with CRMs like Zendesk Sales, HubSpot, or Salesforce and managing the full lifecycle of a sales funnel.
- Proficient in Google Sheets, Excel, and CRM platforms.
- Ability to work on your own and take charge in a fast-paced setting.
- Great communication skills and ability to express ideas and solutions clearly.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
