System Adminstrator (SysAdmin)

We're looking for a full-time System Administrator (SysAdmin) to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining the health of our IT systems.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of our computer systems, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
Manage user accounts, including creation, modification, and deletion.
Install, configure, and maintain software applications across our network.
Perform routine server maintenance tasks, including backups, updates, and security patches.
Troubleshoot technical issues reported by users and diagnose the root cause for resolution.
Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential problems before they occur.
Document procedures and maintain clear records of all system changes.
Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2+ years of experience as a System Administrator or related IT role.
Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.).
Experience with server administration, ideally with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
Proficient in working with Active Directory or similar user management systems.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

Bonus points:

Experience with cloud-based technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.).
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
Familiarity with IT security best practices.
