Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated System Administrator / Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will plan, build, monitor, and support IT infrastructures for multiple companies. You will collaborate with a team of experts to solve complex problems, design innovative systems, and provide top-notch support to end users. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely, contributing to diverse projects and enhancing your professional growth in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Design & Implementation: Plan and deploy robust IT infrastructures tailored to the needs of various clients, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- System Monitoring & Maintenance: Continuously monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
- Technical Support: Provide remote IT support to end users, diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures to ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement new solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support client goals.
- Training & Support: Educate end users on system functionalities and best practices, ensuring a smooth transition to new technologies and processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in system engineering or a related role, with a focus on remote IT support & management
- Technical Skills:
- Ability to provide creative technical solutions to problems.
- Proficiency in Windows server administration.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Experience with administration of productivity systems (M365, Google Workspace)
- Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with PSA, RMM, EDR, AV and other tools (HaloPSA, Kaseya, N-Able, Sentinelone, Etc.)
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
