Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Steel Detailer with 3+ years of experience using Tekla software. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of interpreting architectural and structural blueprints. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent organizational skills, and effective verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of ASIC steel construction detailing design standards and guidelines is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
-Create detailed steel fabrication drawings using Tekla software.
-Interpret and analyze architectural and structural blueprints to produce accurate and precise detailing.
-Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure designs meet specifications and standards.
-Identify and resolve design issues and discrepancies.
-Maintain organized records of all detailing work and project documentation.
-Ensure compliance with ASIC steel construction detailing design standards and guidelines.
-Communicate effectively with team members and managers to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.

Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience using Tekla software for steel detailing.
-Proven ability to interpret architectural and structural blueprints.
-Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
-Effective verbal and written communication skills.
-Knowledge of ASIC steel construction detailing design standards and guidelines.
-Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:
-Experience with other detailing software and tools.
-Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes.
-Previous experience in a similar role within the construction or engineering industry.
