We are a small staffing firm based in Chicago, IL USA. We operate nationally in the United States. We recruit and place temp, temp-to-hire, and direct-hire candidates in the US.
We're looking for a Staffing Assistant to focus on onboarding (I9s, background checks, drug screens,..), quality checks with our active temps and placements, and other administrative tasks. We're looking for:
- Resume formatting, proofreading, etc.
- Candidate entry into and management in VMS systems
- Managing, sending out interview invites to clients and candidates.
- Managing issuance of offers, onboarding documentation, I9 requests etc.
- Collect all paperwork, background and medical testing authorizations, IDs for I9 purposes.
- Order background checks, drug screens, upload authorizations into background company's portal
- Follow-up with candidates daily on their progress with drug and medical testing is key.
- Set up assignments, candidates and clients in the timekeeping portal.
- Send out first day details, timekeeping instructions, etc.
- Follow-up with candidates on a quality control schedule to enhance candidate experience and avoid falloffs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience needed:
- 2+ years of experience in a US based staffing company.
- Excellent English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency with various databases and tools
