Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and post journal entries for monthly close cycles
Reconcile bank accounts, inventory, floorplan, and balance sheet accounts
Handle Capital Expenditure and Fixed Asset accounting
Perform intercompany reconciliation, WIP reconciliation, and journal entries
Manage real estate tax accounting across all locations
Upload manufacturer financials monthly
Cross-train in Accounts Payable and Receivable for backup support
Develop and implement best practices to ensure SOX compliance
Handle sales and use tax responsibilities and government reporting
Maintain schedules supporting audit and tax requirements
Assist with review and analysis of annual inventory and fixed assets counts
Prepare weekly and daily internal reports
Support the Controller with special projects
Qualifications:
Accounting degree with 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
Strong experience working with US-based companies is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and Word
Ability to think creatively and improve processes
Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Industry experience is helpful but not required
