Description
MedCore Solutions is seeking a Spanish Bilingual Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join our team and provide exceptional support to patients and healthcare providers. This role requires fluency in both Spanish and English and a strong understanding of healthcare processes, including patient scheduling, insurance verification, and resolving inquiries related to medical services.
Core Responsibilities
Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in both Spanish and English, providing excellent customer service and addressing patient inquiries.
Assist patients with scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments and explain medical procedures and preparation requirements.
Confirm appointment details and coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth operations.
Follow up with patients to provide updates on appointment changes or cancellations.
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits to ensure patients understand their coverage.
Assist with prior authorization requests, documentation, and referrals as needed.
Address and resolve patient complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate department or supervisor when necessary.
Serve as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to ensure seamless communication.
Provide clear instructions and follow-up for patients undergoing specialized procedures or treatments.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day; 40 hours/week
Weekend days off
Requirements
Fluency in Spanish and English, including strong verbal and written communication skills
Minimum of 2 years' experience in customer service, preferably within a healthcare setting
Ability to manage high volumes of inbound calls with professionalism and empathy
Familiarity with medical terminology, healthcare processes, and insurance procedures
Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
Effective multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Experience with patient management systems and electronic medical records (EMR)
Amenable to work in a graveyard shift
Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high levels of productivity

RAM: Minimum of 8GB or higher for optimal performance.
Operating System:
Windows: Windows 11 Pro (Windows 10 Pro is acceptable but not preferred). The operating system must have a legitimate license.
Mac: macOS compatible with M1 or newer chips.
Hard Disk: At least an SSD for faster processing and performance.
Internet Connectivity: Minimum speed of 50 Mbps via a wired connection for stability and reliability. A backup internet connection is highly recommended.
Power Supply: A backup power supply (e.g., UPS or generator) to prevent disruptions during power outages (optional but encouraged).
