Description: The Solar Service Administrator plays a key role in managing the service and maintenance operations for our solar energy systems. This position involves coordinating service requests, managing technician schedules, ensuring customer satisfaction, remotely troubleshooting system issues, conducting health checks, and performing various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, a passion for renewable energy, and the ability to communicate technical information effectively and clearly.

Core Responsibilities:
Monitor and evaluate the performance of photovoltaic (PV) systems remotely.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues either remotely or by scheduling field technicians for on-site visits as needed.
Perform routine system health checks and provide ongoing maintenance and technical support to customers.
Manage and prioritize service requests, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing system downtime.
Communicate with customers, field technicians, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations and prompt response times.
Maintain accurate records of service activities, diagnostics, and resolutions in the company’s CRM or service management software.
Ensure all service activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers for warranty claims, parts orders, and technical assistance.
Provide remote technical support, including system performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
Serve as a subject matter expert on PV system performance, advising customers on potential improvements and system optimizations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in customer service or administrative roles, preferably within the renewable energy or solar industry.
Strong knowledge of photovoltaic systems and solar technology.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear, concise manner.
Familiarity with CRM or service management software.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-first mindset.
Knowledge of industry safety and regulatory standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
