JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a female social media manager that is skilled in writing (captions) with an eye for design + viral social media trends as there will be graphic creation and video editing involved. Flexible hours [work in your time zone] working 20-30 hours a week. There may be an opportunity to expand to full-time position in the future. Marketing/social media management experience a plus but not required-- willing to train for the right candidate. Copywriting experience a plus. Basic knowledge/experience on how to grow Instagram followers is a plus but not necessary. **MUST FOLLOW ALL DIRECTION TO BE CONSIDERED**

EXCELLENT writing skills and superb attention to detail is required. The bulk of your task will be social media management, posting, content calendar creation + curation of mom/baby content, editing designs on Canva, and providing creatives. Knowledge in Canva or any basic design software with an eye for design (feminine types of designs), and influencer/partnership outreach. Hours are flexible, but we require daily outputs including weekends (Sunday PHT = day off).

REQUIRED Skill sets:
- Excellent English written skills. At near perfect. Having excellent writing grammar + experience in writing is extremely important to us. We want the writing to be creative and trendy (i.e., use of puns, trending words, play on words, when writing).
- MUST have stable internet connection, a smartphone, and be able to communicate in real time. MUST have back up internet connection.
- Must have a desire to keep up with trends within mom/baby/parents industry and apply it to social media strategy
- Knowledge of Canva, other design tools/software, with an eye for feminine design and basic video editing skills such as adding captions and emojis and transitions in videos
- Must pay attention to detail and understand steps + be able to emulate our brand voice and tone
- Must be able to problem solve and think outside the box instead of only waiting for instruction
- Must be able to take feedback constructively, and quickly implement the changes provided during feedback
- Must be a pro-active communicator. Communication is KEY for a remote team to function

Job Responsibilities:

- Actively engage, reply, monitor, and create thoughtful social interaction within our communities across all social platforms.
- Maintaining our active social media presence on Instagram, Facebook
- Curating + creating images, videos, and graphics for our instagram
- Create and execute social media calendars based on promotions, and branded content releases.
- Reach out to influencers and partners for giveaways, content creation, and collaborations
- Create original content and source user-generated content relevant to the brand.
- Strategize ways to drive traffic to our website through social media and encourage follower growth across our platforms.
- Manage tagging products to support a shoppable Instagram experience.
- Managing and creating promotions, giveaways on our instagram and tiktok
- complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly social reporting, set goals and KPIs for continuous improvement.
- Growing our IG followers organically through strategies such as using hashtags, reels, daily engaging with other accounts + followers and other creative ways -- always willing to learn the most updated ways to organically grow our instagram and keeping up with trends
- During busy times, may help out on Customer Service tasks if necessary (i.e., answering customer queries via email).

There is always room to grow in this position, and bonuses for excellent work performance. Hours are flexible but will be tracked on HubStaff tracking software and after training, you basically set your own schedule, but this is NOT an easy job even though hours are flexible. We are only looking for people that are serious and dedicated to their role and team members that always go above and beyond their duties. Choose one of our recent photos on Instagram (IG handle is ohbabyboxes) and write a MOCK up comment reply --DO NOT REPLY ON THE IG POST DIRECTLY, MOCK UP REPLY SUBMITTED W YOUR APP (provide the link of image you plan on replying to). Your reply should be engaging, and it should be a thoughtful reply comment. This is what you will be doing when you comment on other instagrams in the future to build engagement, so this mock up task is to showcase your ability to write thoughtful comments on other's instagram posts.

6. Curate 3 videos that you think would be relevant for our Instagram based on our current Instagram strategy, and write CAPTIONS for each video.

7. Attach a video editing sample (simple video editing similar to the reels on our IG where we add captions, emojis, etc to a product video).

8. Write a short paragraph product description for this item, make it relatable to a mom in their 3rd trimester: Pure Mama - Belly Oil (you can google this product to get to know the product first, then write your product description. Highlight what makes this product/company special in your description).
