Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Social Media Specialist with a passion for pets and a flair for social media to join our team to drive sales to our website. As the Social Media Specialist, you will play a crucial role in building and managing our online presence across various platforms. This role will require you to setup accounts on platforms we don't have, create content from scratch (picture and video), and build a following that we can market our products to.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with company goals and brand identity.
- Create engaging and shareable content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
- Manage and maintain the content calendar, ensuring a consistent and timely posting schedule.
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends, competitor activities, and engage with the pet community.
- Foster relationships with influencers, bloggers, and pet-related communities to increase brand awareness.
- Respond to customer inquiries and comments on social media in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate promotions, contests, and product launches through social media channels.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging and visually appealing content.
- Familiarity with clicker pet training and behavior is a plus.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Proficient in social media management tools and analytics.

Qualifications:

Previous experience managing social media for a consumer product or pet-related company is preferred.
Knowledge of graphic design tools is a plus.
