We are currently recruiting for a Social Media Specialist to manage Instagram and Pinterest for The Peony Girl, a key account within our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Strategy Development:
• Design and execute creative, results-driven social media strategies tailored to The Peony Girl’s brand, focusing on growing its presence on Instagram and Pinterest.
• Align social media strategies with The Peony Girl’s broader marketing goals and gigCMO’s strategic objectives.
• Stay informed on emerging trends and best practices for both platforms, ensuring The Peony Girl remains competitive and relevant.
2. Content Creation & Curation:
• Develop, curate, and manage high-quality visual content (images, videos, stories, and pins) that resonates with The Peony Girl’s target audience.
• Ensure content is consistent with The Peony Girl’s brand voice and aesthetic, and integrate promotions, new products, and seasonal trends.
• Utilise social media management tools to schedule and organise posts for optimal engagement times.
3. Community Engagement & Interaction:
• Actively engage with followers and potential customers, responding to comments and messages to cultivate a vibrant community.
• Monitor conversations about The Peony Girl, identifying opportunities to enhance brand loyalty and awareness.
4. Performance Analytics & Reporting:
• Regularly track, analyse, and report on social media performance metrics (traffic, engagement, follower growth, etc.).
• Leverage data insights to refine content strategies, improving overall ROI and audience engagement.
5. Influencer & Collaboration Management:
• Identify and foster relationships with influencers and bloggers that align with The Peony Girl’s brand values.
• Manage influencer campaigns, ensuring they contribute to increased visibility and customer engagement.
6. Shopify Website Maintenance:
• Oversee The Peony Girl’s Shopify website, ensuring seamless integration with social media strategies.
• Collaborate with web developers to ensure the site is updated, user-friendly, and optimised for conversions based on traffic from social media.
7. Cross-Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with gigCMO’s marketing and sales teams to align The Peony Girl’s social media activities with overarching marketing campaigns.
• Share insights and contribute to the planning of broader cross-platform initiatives for increased brand exposure.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience managing Instagram and Pinterest for a B2C or FMCG brand, with a proven track record of growing engagement and followers.
• Strong understanding of social media KPIs, web traffic metrics, and SEO principles.
• Proficiency in photo and video editing software.
• Familiarity with Shopify and basic website management.
• Analytical skills with a data-driven mindset to track performance and refine strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working within a larger team.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience running paid social media campaigns and promotions.
• Creativity with a strong sense of design and visual aesthetics.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
