Social Media Reels Editor

We’re looking for a reliable, high-quality video editor to create engaging short-form social media clips from podcast episodes. The ideal candidate has experience editing fast-paced, attention-grabbing reels optimized for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook. You should be skilled at adding captions, b-roll, sound effects, and other engaging elements to make the content more dynamic and scroll-stopping.

Responsibilities:
• Edit high-quality, engaging short-form podcast clips (typically 30-90 seconds).
• Add bold, dynamic captions using Premiere Pro, After Effects, or a comparable tool.
• Incorporate b-roll, Upgrade to see actual infos, and other engaging visuals to enhance storytelling.
• Use sound effects and music strategically to increase engagement.
• Ensure videos are optimized for social media platforms (vertical format, fast-paced, and hook-driven).
• Deliver content on time with quick turnaround (typically within 48-72 hours per clip).
• Stay updated with current social media trends and viral editing styles.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience editing social media content (especially podcast clips).
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar software.
• Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and creating engaging hooks.
• Experience with AI captioning tools like Descript or CapCut is a plus.
• Ability to match brand voice and style while keeping content fresh and engaging.
• Fast, efficient, and reliable, with a strong attention to detail.

Bonus Skills:
• Experience with motion graphics to enhance captions or animations.
• Background in social media growth strategies.
• Knowledge of YouTube Shorts and TikTok best practices.
