JOB OVERVIEW

We are a growing personal brand focused on building a strong online presence through short-form video content and audience engagement on platforms like YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok. The brand emphasizes authenticity, creativity, and value-driven content to connect with a wide and engaged audience.

We are seeking a talented and dynamic Social Media Manager to take the brand to the next level by driving growth, engagement, and visibility across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy and Planning:

Develop and execute a results-driven social media strategy tailored to YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
Plan and schedule content calendars to ensure consistent posting and alignment with the brand's goals.

Content Creation and Editing:

Collaborate with the content creator to ideate and refine short-form video concepts.
Assist in editing, captioning, and optimizing video content for each platform (e.g., trending music, hashtags, platform-specific editing styles).

*We current have a team of 4 video editors.

Community Management:

Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and DMs to build a loyal community.
Monitor and analyze audience feedback, leveraging insights to adjust content and engagement strategies.
Trend Spotting:

Stay updated on platform trends, algorithms, and best practices to keep content fresh and relevant.
Identify opportunities for growth through viral content, partnerships, or innovative formats.
Analytics and Reporting:

Track and analyze performance metrics (views, engagement rates, follower growth) to assess campaign effectiveness.
Provide regular reports with actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
Collaboration and Brand Growth:

Partner with external creators or influencers to amplify reach and visibility.
Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s tone, voice, and goals.

Qualifications:

Proven experience managing social media for brands or creators, with a focus on short-form video content.
Expertise in YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok content creation and growth strategies.
Strong understanding of platform-specific algorithms and how to optimize for visibility and engagement.
Proficiency in video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Canva).
Excellent communication skills and an eye for engaging, on-brand content.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Passion for social media trends and the ability to think creatively.

Preferred Skills:
5+ Years of social media management.
Basic graphic design skills for thumbnails or branded posts.
Experience with influencer marketing or partnerships.
Knowledge of SEO strategies for video optimization.
Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics, SocialBlade, or platform-native insights.
