We are seeking a talented and bilingual Social Media Manager fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese to join our dynamic team. This individual will oversee social media content creation, community management, and audience engagement while ensuring the translation and localization of our content (e.g., reels, captions, and posts) into Mandarin and Cantonese. This role requires someone with a deep understanding of cultural nuances, creativity, and strategic social media management expertise to effectively communicate our client's brand message to a diverse audience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Management:
Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across platforms (Instagram,
Create and schedule engaging posts, reels, and stories to increase brand awareness, engagement, and followers.
Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations.
Stay up-to-date on social media trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
2. Translation and Localization:
Translate reels, captions, and other content from English to Mandarin and Cantonese, ensuring cultural relevance and linguistic accuracy.
Collaborate with video editors to incorporate translated subtitles and captions seamlessly.
Adapt content to reflect regional preferences and cultural nuances.
3. Community Engagement:
Actively engage with audiences in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English across all platforms by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries.
Cultivate an online community that resonates with diverse demographics.
4. Content Strategy and Collaboration:
Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and execute visually appealing and culturally appropriate campaigns.
Provide guidance on best practices for multilingual content.
5. Client Relationship Management:
Communicate with the client regularly to gather insights, feedback, and alignment on goals.
Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
Qualifications:
Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English (written and spoken) is required.
Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and strategy (1+ year/s preferred).
Strong understanding of social media analytics and tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, etc.).
Excellent translation skills with attention to detail and cultural sensitivity.
Proficiency in video editing and captioning tools is a plus.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Preferred:
Familiarity with real estate or luxury brand industries is an advantage.
Experience working with bilingual audiences and multicultural marketing strategies.
