Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Strategist to join our US DTC e-commerce brand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy, creating engaging content, and building a strong online presence. This role requires a deep understanding of social media platforms, audience engagement, and digital marketing trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy Development:
Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy to align with business goals.
Identify target audiences and create content that resonates with them across various social media platforms.
Set specific objectives and report on ROI, adjusting strategies based on data and performance metrics.
Content Creation and Management:
Create, curate, and manage high-quality content (text, images, video) that drives engagement and supports brand objectives.
Maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all social media platforms.
Plan and execute a content calendar that includes regular posts, stories, and campaigns.
Community Management:
Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive community around the brand.
Monitor online conversations and brand mentions and address any issues or opportunities that arise.
Build relationships with influencers and brand advocates to expand reach and impact.
Analytics and Reporting:
Monitor, track, analyze, and report on social media performance using tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or other analytics platforms.
Use insights to optimize content and improve engagement rates, follower growth, and other key metrics.
Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
Advertising and Campaigns:
Develop and manage paid social media campaigns, including budgeting, targeting, and performance tracking.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns and goals.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Work closely with other departments, such as Content, PR, and Customer Service, to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.
Collaborate with graphic designers, photographers, and videographers to produce engaging content.
Qualifications:

Responsibilities include finding and securing collaborations with creators to promote our products across various social media platforms. You'll be responsible for developing relationships with influencers, negotiating partnerships, and ensuring effective brand representation. Strong communication skills and a passion for social media trends are essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. (OPTIONAL)
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role for e-commerce DTC Brand. (MUST HAVE 2+ YEARS)
- Strong understanding of social media platforms
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate original ideas.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with SEO, web traffic metrics, and online marketing concepts.
- Experience with graphic design or video editing software is a plus.
