JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role:
Piper Media Group (PMG), a veteran-owned video production company based in St. Louis, MO,
is seeking a talented and creative Social Media Manager to oversee social media activities
for our company and one of our key clients. This is a remote position with flexible hours,
ideal for a professional who thrives in a dynamic, results-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies for PMG and our client,
tailored to specific goals.
- Create and manage monthly content calendars for multiple platforms.

2. Content Creation:
- Design and write engaging, platform-appropriate posts, including a mix of original
content and assets provided by PMG (e.g., videos, graphics, copy).
- Adapt content to align with each brand’s tone, voice, and objectives.

3. Platform Management:
- Manage 5 social media platforms for PMG (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn,
YouTube, Twitter/X) and 2 platforms for one of our clients, with potential expansion to 4
platforms in the future.
- Ensure consistent posting schedules and optimal engagement times.

4. Engagement & Community Building:
- Respond to comments, messages, and mentions within 24 hours to foster a sense of
community and trust.
- Monitor and engage with relevant accounts to increase visibility and audience growth.

5. Analytics & Reporting:
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement rates, follower growth,
and conversion metrics.
- Prepare and present monthly performance reports with actionable insights and
recommendations.

6. Growth & Trends:
- Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices to enhance strategy
and execution.
- Suggest new ideas and tactics for boosting organic reach and engagement.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with GHL (GoHighLevel) for scheduling and managing social media posts is a
huge plus.
- Proven experience in social media management, preferably for multiple brands.
- Strong skills in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and scheduling
platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Meta Insights, Google Analytics, and platform-native
metrics.
- Experience with paid advertising campaigns is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Working Hours:
- Flexible schedule, as long as engagement tasks are completed within 24 hours or less.
- Part-time hours initially, with potential for growth as client needs expand.

Compensation:
- Competitive pay based on experience and workload.
- Pay will be weekly and will increase as I add more clients and platforms.
