JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Manager to join our UK-based team on a part-time basis. In this role - working to GMT office hours - you will oversee multiple social media profiles, manage daily content creation (not articles), and engage with industry trends and communities.

You will receive ongoing training, and your strategic thinking and attention to detail will be key to growing our online presence while maintaining strong relationships with our followers and industry peers.

Responsibilities:

Minimal Brands (30 minutes daily):
- Review the social media for flagged items (e.g., escalations) within our AI team responses.
- Ensure our software automations are running as scheduled.

-Weekly Analytics Review (1 hour on Fridays):
- Perform a detailed review of analytics for minimal brand profiles to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Active Brands (3.5 hours daily):
- Content Posting and Scheduling (45 minutes):
- Create and schedule engaging social media posts across various platforms to respond to industry news.
- Design visuals using Canva as needed to enhance content.

- Industry Engagement (30 minutes):
- Comment on trending topics, relevant posts, and industry news.
- Build and nurture connections with influencers and thought leaders.

- Community Management (30 minutes):
- Respond to comments, messages, and direct inquiries from followers to foster engagement and build relationships.

- Campaign Monitoring and Refinement (45 minutes):
- Track metrics for ongoing campaigns and adjust strategies to ensure optimal results.

- Deep Engagement (1 hour):
- Participate in more meaningful, relationship-building activities.
- Engage in longer discussions or Q&A-style posts on relevant forums or social media groups to establish authority and encourage brand loyalty.

Requirements:
- Proven experience managing social media accounts, with a focus on content creation, community engagement, and analytics.
- Strong skills in social media platforms, especially Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Proficiency in tools such as Canva for designing visuals.
- Experience with social media management tools
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Excellent written communication skills and a proactive, friendly approach to community management.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
