Social Media Manager- Nail Care

Background
We are looking for a Social Media Manager to develop and oversee the social media marketing strategies, content, and the social media identities of our nail brands. You must be adept at crafting compelling content plans/calendars and generating the creative to support your vision. You should feel passionate about beauty and be an enthusiast when it comes to nail art and nail products.

This position reports to the Director of Marketing/Brand Development Nail Care. Those selected for this position will have qualities such as:

Responsibilities
• Develop compelling social media channel plans and campaigns that support brand marketing initiatives, new product launches and retailer support.
• Plan out and create original content that will increase KPIs such as reach, impressions, views and engagement rate which will ultimately increase revenue.
• Coordinate with influencers and content creators to generate brand awareness and create excitement for new product launches, activations, and PR events.
• Analyze and interpret campaign and content performance to inform optimizations and share those learnings/insights with marketing and cross-functional teams.
• Research competitive and social media beauty trends and inform broader marketing team regarding potential opportunities.
• Copywriting on all social platforms and utilizing Dash Hudson to maintain a calendar and scheduling posts.
• Create educating and engaging video and photography content in alignment with brand image and strategy, including micro-content such as social graphics, memes, and animated GIFs.
• Coordinate with brand managers and content creator to execute social content shoots including scheduling photo studio, creation of shot list and mood board, and sourcing props.
• Assist with PR lists, product seeding, tracking, and coordinating with Brand Managers on other miscellaneous needs.

Qualifications
• 3 to 5 years of experience in social media marketing, either at an agency or in-house.
• Experience in all major platforms: TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest.
• Experience in tools/services such as: Dash Hudson, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Tagger, Lefty, Perpetua/cobrand, Tribe Dynamics, CreatorIQ, Canva.
• A big plus if you have a background in graphic design, photo editing or video editing.
• A bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree in marketing or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be forward thinking, extremely organized and have the capacity to juggle a variety of project-oriented tasks.
• Proven to be reliable, diligent, self-motivated, and dedicated.

Working hours for this role are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm PST
