### **Job Description: Social Media Manager**
**Position:** Social Media Manager
**Location:** Remote
**Reporting to:** Marketing Manager / School Director
**Employment Type:** Part-Time

#### **Overview:**
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to oversee and implement the online presence of our British curriculum online school. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, experienced in social media strategy, and skilled in creating engaging content to attract and retain students and parents.

#### **Key Responsibilities:**

**1. Social Media Strategy & Planning**
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the school's objectives.
- Identify target audiences and craft campaigns that resonate with potential students and parents, especially in the UAE and Middle Eastern regions.

**2. Content Creation & Management**
- Create engaging and innovative content across platforms (text, graphics, videos, stories).
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule to increase engagement and followers.
- Highlight the school’s key features, such as live classes, iGCSE, and A-level preparation, affordability, and global accessibility.

**3. Community Engagement**
- Monitor, respond, and engage with comments, messages, and inquiries on all platforms promptly.
- Foster a sense of community by sharing success stories, student achievements, and events.

**4. Analytics & Reporting**
- Track and analyse performance metrics, including reach, engagement, and conversions.
- Prepare monthly reports on social media performance and suggest improvements based on insights.

**5. Collaboration**
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager, educators, and other stakeholders to align social media efforts with broader marketing campaigns.
- Partner with graphic designers and content creators to produce high-quality visuals and videos.

**6. Trend Monitoring & Innovation**
- Stay up-to-date with trends, algorithms, and best practices in social media.
- Implement new tools and strategies to enhance the school’s online presence.

#### **Required Skills & Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably in education or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of major platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok).
- Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) and social media scheduling tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Familiarity with British curriculum education systems and international student markets is desirable.
- Analytical mindset with experience in tracking and interpreting social media metrics.
- Creative, organised, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

#### **Preferred Experience:**
- Experience in marketing to Middle Eastern audiences, particularly UAE families.
- Background in education or familiarity with online schooling models.
- Knowledge of SEO and digital advertising strategies.
