JOB OVERVIEW

Position Overview:
The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company’s social media strategy across various platforms. This role focuses on increasing brand awareness, driving engagement, and boosting customer acquisition through creative and data-driven social media campaigns. The Social Media Manager will work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure that all content aligns with business goals and enhances the company's online presence. This role requires a strong understanding of the latest social media trends, platform algorithms, and best practices, with a focus on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and other digital channels.

Time Availability
-5 hours everyday from Monday-Friday
-An average of 25 hours per week is expected to execute projects and initiatives. Set hours 3pm – 8pm CT (Dallas, TX) Monday – Friday. (Full time can be offered after exceptional work in the first 60 days)

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Development:
-Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to align with business goals.
-Create, schedule, and publish engaging, on-brand content across various platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.).
-Monitor social media trends and incorporate them into the content calendar to maximize reach and engagement. Community Engagement & Growth:
-Foster and grow the online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
-Collaborate with influencers, brand ambassadors, and content creators to expand the brand’s reach.
-Build and nurture relationships with followers to create a loyal, engaged community. Cross-Platform Brand Expansion:
-Maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all platforms, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall marketing strategy.
-Monitor platform best practices and algorithms to ensure optimized engagement.
-Track and report on the performance of social media campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed. Performance Analysis & Optimization:
-Use social media analytics tools to track campaign performance, audience insights, and engagement metrics.
-Create and present monthly performance reports with actionable insights to optimize future campaigns.
-Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that social media efforts align with overall business objectives. Collaboration & Strategy Alignment:
-Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to align on content, campaign goals, and messaging.
-Stay current on industry trends and new platform features, suggesting strategies to stay ahead of competitors.

Qualifications & Requirements
-Experience managing social media platforms for a consumer brand, ideally in beauty and wellness.
-Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook with a passion for staying current on social media trends.
-Proficient in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
-Analytical mindset with experience using social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Google Analytics).
-Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging captions and calls to action.
-Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications
-Experience in influencer marketing and brand partnerships.
-Experience with social media advertising (e.g., Facebook/Instagram Ads, TikTok Ads) is a plus.
-Experience in email marketing and customer journeys
-Knowledge of SEO strategies
-Familiarity with Amazon influencer programs and social commerce strategies.
