JOB OVERVIEW

Role Overview
The Social Media Manager will take ownership of the LinkedIn strategy, content creation, and engagement. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining a strong social media presence, promoting partnership collaborations, supporting our "Empower WE" initiatives, and driving brand awareness to further our mission. If you are passionate about women’s entrepreneurship, storytelling, and leveraging social media to create meaningful impact, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy Development

Design and execute a LinkedIn social media strategy aligned with the company’s mission, goals, and growth targets.
Stay up to date on LinkedIn trends, best practices, and platform features to maximize visibility and engagement.
Content Creation & Publishing

Create compelling content that showcases our values, offerings, and success stories, including:
Posts highlighting the "Empower WE" program.
Updates on partnership collaborations (e.g., SCORE.org, EforAll).
Video clips on "impact-driven prioritization."
Develop graphics and videos using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
Publish content consistently, maintaining a professional and inspiring brand tone.
Community Engagement

Engage with the LinkedIn community by responding thoughtfully to comments, direct messages, and mentions.
Foster relationships with key stakeholders in entrepreneurship communities, including collaborators, mentors, and partners.
Analytics & Reporting

Track and analyze key performance metrics (e.g., engagement rate, post reach, audience growth) to assess the effectiveness of content.
Prepare monthly reports with actionable insights and recommendations for refinement.
Partnership Collaborations

Highlight meaningful collaborations with people like Kat (EforAll), SCORE mentor Helmut, Ty Wolfe-Jones, and others.
Create co-branded content and thought leadership pieces promoting these relationships.
Content Ideation

Partner with the team on ideating articles and social posts such as "Balancing Act" and entrepreneurial knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Work closely with the founder to align LinkedIn content with the "Lean Launch" class and other thought leadership activities.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience:

2+ years of experience managing LinkedIn profiles for businesses or personal brands.
Proven success in driving engagement and growing audiences on LinkedIn.
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe, or similar).
Understanding of LinkedIn Analytics and social media scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar).
Soft Skills:

Exceptional written communication skills: must craft professional and engaging posts.
Strategic thinker with a flair for creative storytelling.
Passion for women empowerment, entrepreneurship, and impact-driven communication.
Other Qualifications:

Familiarity with the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurship best practices.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse partners and stakeholders.
