Position Overview
We seek a highly motivated and experienced Social Media Coordinator to join our team. This role is pivotal in managing and growing our clients' social media presence while driving innovation and continuous improvement within our social media department. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker, an expert communicator, and a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy and Management:
Develop and manage content calendars for multiple clients, ensuring alignment with their unique branding and goals.
Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to create engaging and impactful content for the orthodontic/dental profession.
Team Leadership:
Manage and lead a team of designers, assigning tasks through Asana and Slack, ensuring deadlines are met.
Host weekly Zoom meetings with designers to provide feedback and maintain progress.
Review and approve designs, trusting your strong creative instincts and eye for detail, to ensure all content aligns with client branding and meets high-quality standards.
Client Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for social media clients regarding their social media strategies and updates.
Proactively communicate progress, changes, and any challenges, ensuring clients feel informed and confident in our work.
Innovation and Improvement:
Advocate for improvements and changes to elevate the social media program.
Play a key role in consistently striving to keep our social media program on the cutting edge using the latest trends.
Analyze and bring fresh ideas to enhance our clients' and Kaleidoscope’s social media presence.
Subject Matter Expertise:
Be the "go-to" expert on all things social media, staying ahead of industry updates and educating clients and Kaleidoscope team members.
Troubleshoot and resolve social media technical issues, such as
Kaleidoscope Social Media:
Contribute and post to Kaleidoscope’s own social media efforts by engaging. This also includes commenting, liking posts, and proposing content ideas.
Actively monitor and report on competitors’ strategies to improve Kaleidoscope’s online presence.
Operational Excellence:
Work to ensure completed social media calendars are presented to clients at least one month in advance.
Improve internal communication by proactively sharing updates and addressing issues as they arise.
Willingness to learn social media specifics for the orthodontic | dental profession
Qualifications:
Possess a C2 or C1 proficiency in the English language, enabling effective communication and collaboration with US-based clients.
Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and proficiency in Canva are required. Background in Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.
Strong understanding of major social media platforms, especially
Exceptional eye for detail to ensure all content aligns with client branding and meets high-quality standards.
Experience using project management tools Asana, Slack, HubSpot, and time management software preferred.
Leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a creative team.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
