JOB OVERVIEW

The Role:

The Social Media Coordinator, will have the important role of creating the strategy to enhance and improve our presence on our social media networks, including but not limited to, Meta (Instagram & Facebook), YouTube, LinkedIn and TikTok.

• Monitoring all social media content
• Posting content on all social media platforms
• Creating and tracking the performance of a campaign
• Keeping up with technologies used in social media
• Using social media marketing tools
• Collaborating with designers or copywriters to provide attractive and informative campaigns when required
• Tracking customer engagement and SEO to optimize campaign content
• Review current social media accounts to develop, evolve & lead Jeannette’s social media strategy
• Generate awareness of the brands and engagement in what we do
• Build strong, growing & engaging online communities - including followers, subscribers, likes & group members
• Work with videographer to guide and apply repurposed content to appropriate social media channels
• Planning and scheduling posts in line with social media strategy
• Understanding KPI’s and defining them specifically for social media
• Track and analyse data & KPIs for continual improvement – providing weekly & monthly reports & analysis

Key Result Areas:

• Create external personal brand for Jeannette that allows her to ultimately have a global reach
• Increase mentorship event bookings, group members & revenue via existing & new social media channels
• Increase reach & engagement through social media interaction, across relevant platforms
• Increase in activity/content resulting in greater sized community (including administering FB groups)
• Increase in positive feedback, testimonials etc. through social media publishing and responses
• Provide ongoing support, admin and messaging to our community on all social media
• Display the company values & culture at all times
Requirements:

• Video editing and subtitling skills where necessary
• Experience of developing & implementing a comprehensive social media marketing strategy, to align with the marketing plan
• Deep knowledge of all social media platforms, specifically Instagram and YouTube.
• How to engage with influencers to build brand awareness
• Guide and deliver social media campaigns including but not limited to cross-platform social media advertising
• Support SEO initiatives through optimization of social media strategies & content
• Experience of paid advertising to know when appropriate, and how to optimise
• Ensure timely, creative and meaningful content to increase the reach & engagement of customer
• Content creation experience to ensure content is relevant and written “in the right voice”
• Social media analytics skills to evaluate performance, lead gen, customer comments and marketing results; effectively translate analytics into actionable insights to constantly drive success.

• Discretion and trustworthiness as you will often be privy to confidential information

• Positive, upbeat, self-starting attitude
• Creative flair for content creation
• Strong planning & organisations skills
• Agile and able to ‘shift gears’ at short notice
• Ability to pre-empt issues ahead of time and implement creative solutions to problem solving
• A degree or diploma in any subject (in progress or achieved) – not mandatory but would be a bonus.
