Test Assignment: Instagram Carousel Design for Closet Swap Event

Overview:
We are hosting an event called Closet Swap, taking place on April 15th at 12:00 PM EST in Atlanta. This event is the ultimate thrifting experience, where people can spring clean their homes, bring in bags of clothes, rent a table to swap with others, and shop from other participants. It's a great opportunity to refresh your wardrobe and meet others in the community.

We want you to create a creative and engaging Instagram carousel that will promote the event to the public, explaining the concept and encouraging them to attend. The goal is to visually communicate the flow of the event in a fun, easy-to-understand way.

Your Assignment:

Create a 5-slide Instagram carousel that explains the Closet Swap event and guides attendees through the steps of participating.
The slides should be clear, visually appealing, and cohesive, with an aesthetic that reflects the spirit of the event — think vibrant, fun, and community-focused, but still chic and on-brand.
Each slide should focus on one key step of the event (feel free to get creative with how you lay this out!). Consider including simple, engaging copy and clear calls-to-action.
Slide Breakdown Suggestions:

Slide 1: Spring Clean Your Closet

Introduce the event and encourage followers to declutter their closets and get ready to swap. You can use fun, seasonal imagery like spring cleaning, piles of clothes, or people organizing their wardrobes.
Slide 2: Be a Shopper or a Swapper

Explain the two options: people can either bring items to swap (Swapper) or attend to shop (Shopper). Use imagery that communicates both aspects (e.g., a table full of clothes for swapping and people shopping).
Slide 3: Get Your Ticket

Provide details on how to secure tickets. This slide should emphasize the importance of buying tickets ahead of time to attend and highlight the limited availability, if applicable.
Slide 4: Come Swap & Shop with Us!

Showcase the excitement of the event itself. Use visuals of people swapping and shopping, having fun with friends, and finding treasures.
Slide 5: The Greatest Thrifting Event in Atlanta

A closing slide that reinforces the idea that this event is a can't-miss opportunity and the "Greatest Thrifting Event in Atlanta." Add event details (Date, Time, Location, etc.) and any relevant hashtags (e.g., #ClosetSwapATL, #ThriftEvent).
Requirements:

The carousel should be designed for Instagram, keeping in mind the format (1080x1080px per image).
Include the event date, time, and location details somewhere on the carousel.
Use an aesthetic that feels fun, fresh, and reflective of the spring season and the community-centered vibe of the event.
Make sure to include a clear call-to-action, whether that’s to get tickets, sign up, or follow for more details.
Feel free to incorporate graphic design elements, icons, or illustrations to make the carousel visually dynamic.
Use fonts and colors that align with the event’s branding and spirit.
Evaluation Criteria:

Creativity & Aesthetic: How well does the design communicate the fun, vibrant spirit of the Closet Swap event?
Clarity: Are the steps clear and easy to follow for the audience?
Engagement: Does the carousel engage viewers and encourage them to participate or buy tickets?
Branding: Does the design align with the overall theme of the event and the audience's expectations?
Submission Instructions:
Please submit your final designs as individual images or as a PDF with each slide included. Be sure to include any relevant design files if necessary (e.g., fonts, color palette, etc.).
