Snowflake Specialist

We are a growing mechanical equipment distribution, services & construction company based in the U.S., currently implementing Acumatica ERP to optimize our business operations. Our legacy data is stored in Snowflake, and we need a Snowflake Data Specialist to help us extract, transform, and integrate this data into Acumatica in an efficient and structured way.

Job Responsibilities:
Analyze, structure, and clean legacy data in Snowflake to prepare it for migration into Acumatica.
Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract and transform data efficiently.
Work closely with the Acumatica implementation team to ensure smooth data integration.
Design ETL/ELT workflows to automate data movement from Snowflake to Acumatica.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency during the migration process.
Identify and resolve data discrepancies between Snowflake and Acumatica.
Create dashboards and reports in Snowflake to validate data quality before migration.
Integrate AI/ML models to analyze historical trends and provide actionable insights for business decision-making.
Maintain data governance and security best practices throughout the migration process.
Stay up-to-date on Snowflake and Acumatica best practices to optimize data handling and performance.
Qualifications & Requirements

Qualifications:
Proven experience working with Snowflake, including data modeling, performance tuning, and security best practices.
Strong SQL skills with experience in query optimization and stored procedures.
Hands-on experience with data migration from Snowflake to ERP systems (Acumatica experience is a plus).
Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools such as dbt, Matillion, Fivetran, or Talend.
Experience integrating AI/ML models to analyze historical data and uncover trends.
Understanding of Acumatica’s data structure (preferred but not required).
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies during migration.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
