Shortform Video Editor (YouTube Shorts, Reels) – $100/Week via WISE | Long-Term

Pay: $100/week (USD), paid weekly via WISE

What You’ll Do
• Edit 5–7 shortform clips per week (15–60 seconds) from longform video and podcast content
• Light editing of 1 podcast episode weekly (Riverside.fm)
• Add captions, b-roll, sound effects, and clean transitions to make content engaging and scroll-stopping
• Write compelling titles and captions for each post
• Upload and schedule longform and shortform content across YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels, and LinkedIn
• Take ownership of both short- and long-term scheduling to ensure consistent, on-brand posting
• Collaborate weekly with our longform video editor to align timelines and maintain a smooth content pipeline
• Stay organized using Google Drive and Upgrade to see actual info

What We’re Looking For
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro (required)
• Experience editing Reels, Shorts, or TikTok-style content
• Solid grasp of pacing, storytelling, and retention in shortform content
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Fast internet connection
• Computer capable of editing 4K video
• Strong communication and self-management skills
• Comfortable owning a posting calendar and coordinating with others to hit deadlines

Navy Nuke Network is a veteran-led media brand and career platform helping elite U.S. Navy Nuclear-trained sailors transition into high-impact civilian careers. These highly trained veterans—known as “Navy Nukes”—have unmatched technical expertise, but often go unnoticed by civilian employers.

Our platform publishes weekly YouTube videos, podcasts, and shortform content to educate the public and support this tight-knit community. We’re growing fast and looking for someone who’s excited to play a key role in our content engine.

Communication & Meetings

We value clear, consistent communication. You’ll be expected to:
• Provide frequent updates on project status and deliverables
• Meet once a week with our team via Google Meet to review progress and align on priorities
• Participate in collaborative planning sessions and respond quickly to messages when needed
• Be comfortable speaking English on video calls (spoken English is required)

***All interviews will be conducted via Google Meet. Please make sure your audio/video setup is ready.***
