Hi there! I’m building a personal brand and looking for a skilled video editor who has proven experience creating short-form content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who is passionate about video editing and can deliver high-quality, engaging content consistently.
Responsibilities:
Edit 10 short-form videos (30-60 seconds) per week from raw footage. $10USD per video. This as an opportunity to increase as I grow.
Add dynamic captions, transitions, effects, and animations to make the content visually engaging and trendy.
Ensure videos are formatted and optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts (correct aspect ratio, high resolution, etc.).
Deliver projects on time while maintaining consistency in style and quality.
Revise videos based on feedback when necessary.
Qualifications:
Previous experience editing short-form social media content (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).
A portfolio showcasing your best work in this style (applications without a portfolio will not be considered).
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools.
A strong understanding of trending styles and what works on TikTok and Instagram.
Attention to detail and creativity in video editing.
Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines.
Must be fluent in English to prove that you are please add the word seasonal at the end of your application.
Trial Requirement for Shortlisted Applicants:
*All shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a trial project before being considered for the role.
The trial will involve:
Editing one 30-second short-form video from raw footage I provide.
Adding captions, transitions, and effects to match a trendy, engaging style.
Submitting the completed trial within [insert timeframe, e.g., 24-48 hours].
