About the Role

We're seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content Editor to join our team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of short-form content creation, working with both original content and transforming existing YouTube videos into engaging short-form formats.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the editing process for short-form video content across multiple platforms
Transform long-form YouTube content into compelling short-form videos while maintaining core messaging and engagement
Implement current social media trends and best practices in video editing
Maintain consistent brand voice and style across all content
Collaborate with the founder and the wider marketing team to optimize video performance
Monitor performance metrics and adjust editing strategies based on data insights

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience in video editing, particularly with short-form content
Strong proficiency in video editing software (please specify which software you use)
Understanding of social media platforms and their specific content requirements
Excellent eye for pacing, timing, and storytelling through video
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Portfolio of previous video editing work
