Short-Form & Long-Form Video Editor

Job Overview:

We are seeking an exceptionally talented and detail-oriented Remote Short-Form and Long-Form Video Editor to join our team. This part-time position is perfect for someone who excels in creating viral short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, as well as high-quality long-form video content for YouTube (including podcasts). If you're passionate about creating engaging, scroll-stopping video edits that go viral, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit and produce viral, highly engaging short-form videos tailored for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Edit and produce high-quality long-form video content for YouTube, including podcasts, ensuring seamless storytelling and polished visuals.
Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut to their fullest potential, optimizing workflow and ensuring high-quality output.
Write "Pelican" in the title of your application or you will not be considered for the position
Maintain a creative approach to video editing, incorporating trends, effects, captions, and other techniques to maximize audience engagement and virality.
Communicate effectively with the team to understand project requirements and deliver edits on time.

Qualifications:

Proven portfolio of viral short-form video edits and long-form YouTube content.
Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut.
Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts trends, including pacing, captions, effects, and music.
Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Highly responsive and available during normal JST business hours, with excellent availability on WhatsApp for communication.
Detail-oriented, with a strong ability to meet deadlines and adapt to feedback quickly.
Additional Information:

This is a part-time, remote position to start, with the potential to transition to full-time based on performance and output.
Candidates must include a portfolio of their best video edits (both short-form and long-form) in their application.
Creativity, responsiveness, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment are critical to success in this role.
