Shopify Technical SEO Expert Needed (SEMrush & Google Search Console Proficiency)

We’re seeking an experienced Shopify Technical SEO Expert to help optimize our online store.

You will be responsible for identifying and implementing technical SEO best practices to improve site visibility, rankings, and organic traffic.

We have a SEMrush subscription available for your use, and you should also be well-versed in Google Search Console and Screaming Frog to monitor and analyze site performance.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits on our Shopify store using SEMrush.

Identify issues impacting site performance (e.g., crawl errors, broken links, site speed, mobile optimization).

Implement on-page SEO best practices, including meta tags, structured data, and content optimization.

Set up and optimize Google Search Console properties, ensuring accurate indexing and monitoring of performance metrics.

Provide recommendations for website structure improvements, internal linking strategies, and site navigation.

Collaborate with our content team to ensure SEO best practices are followed across product pages and blog posts.

Monitor and report on website traffic, keyword rankings, and SEO performance.

Stay updated on latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and Shopify SEO features.

Requirements:

Proven technical SEO experience, particularly with Shopify stores.
Proficient in SEMrush, including site audit tools, keyword research, and competitor analysis.

Strong knowledge of Google Search Console and its functionality for troubleshooting and performance reporting.

Familiarity with other SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Screaming Frog) is a plus.

Understanding of HTML, CSS, and liquid code structure on Shopify.

Ability to implement structured data (JSON-LD) and schema markup where needed.

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and deliver actionable insights.
