About the Role:

We’re looking for a skilled Image Editing Expert with a strong eye for design and marketing to help us update our product images on Shopify. This role involves editing and enhancing product images using Canva and Photoshop, ensuring they highlight key features and benefits. You’ll be responsible for uploading vendor photos, optimizing them for e-commerce and social media, and conducting research as needed to create compelling visuals. Then ultimately uploading them directly to Shopify.

This is currently a project-based role with the potential to transition into a full-time position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Upload and edit vendor product images in Canva and Photoshop
- Enhance images to showcase product benefits, features, and value propositions
- Ensure images align with brand aesthetics and e-commerce best practices
- Conduct market research to understand product positioning and competitive advantages
- Optimize images for use on websites, social media, and marketing materials
- Collaborate with the team to create engaging, conversion-focused visuals
- Maintain consistency in design and quality across all edited images

Requirements:
- Proficiency in Canva and Photoshop (or similar image editing tools)
- Experience editing product images for e-commerce or marketing
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling and conversion-driven design
- Ability to conduct light product research to inform design decisions
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
- Must be able to work 9 AM - 5 PM EST
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to meet project deadlines

Bonus Skills:
- Experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or branding
- Knowledge of social media design trends
- Basic understanding of SEO for images
