Shopify Developer for Store Migration and Integration

Job Overview
The Pigeon Forge Gem Mine is seeking a skilled Shopify developer to migrate its current e-commerce store from WooCommerce to Shopify and build an integrated online and in-store shopping experience. This is a gig job with potential for long-term work, contingent on the quality of the deliverables.

The online store will feature jewelry and rock shop merchandise and must integrate with our in-store platform, Epicor Eagle, ensuring a seamless experience for both customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
Platform Migration: Migrate data (products, inventory, customer accounts) from WooCommerce to Shopify.
Website Development: Design and develop a Shopify store tailored to our branding and merchandise, using assets provided.
Content Creation: Write detailed and engaging product descriptions to enhance the online shopping experience.
In-Store Integration: Implement integration between the Shopify store and Epicor Eagle.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Ensure all features, including inventory sync and payment processing, function smoothly.
SEO and Optimization: Optimize the website for search engines and mobile responsiveness.
Qualifications:
Proven experience developing and launching Shopify websites.
Familiarity with migrating platforms, especially WooCommerce to Shopify.
Experience with integrating Shopify with third-party systems, preferably Epicor Eagle or similar platforms.
Skills in product description writing and e-commerce optimization.
Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce.
Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
