Shopify Developer & Virtual Assistant

We're a small family-owned Canadian company currently selling on Upgrade to see actual info only and in the process of developing a new product. We’re migrating to Shopify and plan to start selling on our website as well, and in need of a Shopify developer and virtual assistant. The immediate need is to build an amazing and captivating modern looking Shopify website that will wow and impress our customers. We are also looking for a virtual assistant (VA). Ideally, the same person will continue as a VA after Shopify website is complete, but these 2 can be separate roles.

For Shopify:
• Build a beautiful modern site with shopping cart
• Add option for visitors to subscribe to mailing list
• Add option for visitors to pre-order products
• Etc…

For VA role:
• Assist with customer service via email/phone/chat apps
• Help customers troubleshoot
• Process orders/returns
• Many others, as needed

Requirements:
• Must be organized and able to communicate clearly in English
• Must have a good and stable Internet connection that can support video conferencing.
• Must be honest, transparent, and hardworking.
• Must be tech-savvy, willing to learn & pickup new skills
• For the Shopify role, must have strong and proven Shopify experience.

Assets
The following skills are a strong asset and will make your application stand out even more:
• Experience with managing an Amazon store, Amazon PPC
