About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Shopify Developer to help build our Brazilian Sweets business' new website. This is the current site: Upgrade to see actual info

The new site will be a fully customized Shopify website and shop. We're currently designing the new website. You will be responsible for transforming our Figma designs into a high-performing, visually appealing, and user-friendly Shopify store.

Responsibilities:
- Develop a custom Shopify website based on provided Figma designs
- Implement and customize Shopify features, including local pickup options
- Optimize website performance, ensuring a seamless user experience across desktop and mobile
- Integrate third-party apps or Shopify plugins as needed for functionality enhancements
- Ensure best practices in SEO, page speed optimization, and accessibility
- Test and troubleshoot to ensure all pages, features, and e-commerce functionalities work flawlessly
- Provide post-launch support and minor revisions as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Shopify Developer with a strong portfolio of custom-built Shopify sites
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid (Shopify’s templating language)
- Experience working with Figma to Shopify development workflows
- Strong understanding of Shopify’s theme structure, APIs, and checkout customization
- Familiarity with Shopify apps, custom code modifications, and third-party integrations
- Ability to optimize for site speed, mobile responsiveness, and user experience
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills and responsiveness to project timelines

Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with local pickup and delivery customization in Shopify
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce
- Experience with Shopify Plus (preferred but not required)
